After a decade in silence X Japan is now officially back! With their new song I.V. [Aye-vee] written by Yoshiki, as end theme in the upcoming movie Saw IV, they are starting their worldwide reunion. Some short previews of the song are circulating on the Internet (and can for example be heard on jrockrevolution.com), and it is known that the lyrics are completely in English. The fully lyrics have not yet been released but of what can be heard in the previews are:

“I’m calling you, dear
Can’t you see me standing right here
Life is bleeding from fear
I’ll give it straight from my vein.”

In the song, earlier recordings of now past away lead guitarist Hide are integrated.
A promotion video was also recorded open for publicly as of 22/10/07.
There have been many speculations of what is coming up next. Many fans believe that there will be a concert in Tokyo Dome at 31/12-07, at the same place, and exactly 10 years after, The Last Live. It is known however that the band plans to let maybe over 10 guitarists play in Hide's place, in case of a concert.

A complete release of the song Without You, which Yoshiki wrote right after Hide's death in 1998, is also coming up. An instrumental version has already been released but the lyrics made for Toshi to sing are still unknown.

This is a very important moment for X Japan fans all over the world,
